Ev and Blackjack



Blackjack has really come around with Everly. He actually goes up to her now when she is playing on the floor! He likes to sniff her head and lay just out of reach! Everly is starting to move around a little bit and Blackjack gives her lots of incentive to try to grab him! The minute she sees him laying near her, she drops her toys and focuses all her attention on reaching him! Blackjack usually gets up and moves a bit farther away once she can touch him! I wonder if he realizes that he is actually helping her learn how to crawl?!?

 



Beatin' The Heat

We have had quite the heat wave here over the past two weeks! Everly was not a fan of the hot weather so we bought her a little kiddie pool to cool off in and we also went out to Auntie Sly's cabin at the lake!

 

Little Character!

Everly is such a little character! She has a super funny personality and loves to giggle. We spend a lot of time during the day laughing with each other!

7 Months Old!

It is hard to believe that 7 months have gone by with this beautiful little girl! She has made each day so special and we are so thankful to have her in our lives. Everly now weighs 15 pounds and is 26.5 inches long. She is really enjoying eating solid foods now. Avocado, chicken, and peanut butter toast are her absolute favourites right now. Everly is starting to show signs of wanting to move around... she can rotate 360 degrees now and gets pretty frustrated when things are just out of reach. I know I should be enjoying these last few weeks before she starts to move around!

Everly has been a regular fan for our Bulldogs team in Union Bay. She now sits on Gramma's lap and cheers along in her pterodactyl screech! People say that she is just like me when she does that... hmmm, what's that supposed to mean?!?

Great Gramma Nonie

On Monday, Darren had the day off so we drove down to Duncan to meet up with his gramma and second cousin Carol. We met them at the Pioneer House for lunch. They were absolutely delighted to see Everly. The last time Great Gramma Nonie saw Everly was when she was only 3 weeks old! She has changed a lot since then! It was a great day for a drive and we had a wonderful lunch!
