Hank the Protector!

Hank has been such an amazing dog with Everly! He loves her so much that he wants to be near her all the time. Blackjack is starting to come around... however, he doesn't hang around her long enough to get a picture taken! Hank also enjoys the comfy pillows that are put around Everly while she is playing on the floor in case she accidently falls backwards :) Everly is also starting to really interact with the dogs... usually grabbing for their ears!

Our Little Carnivore!

We have been trying out all sorts of new foods with Everly. For breakfast, she usually gets oatmeal. At lunch, she will pick away at some veggies and fruit and for dinner she will have a bit of whatever Darren and I are eating. The other night, Darren barbequed steak and I cut off a strip of mine for Ev! She absolutely loved it! She sat there and sucked that piece of meat for at least 15 minutes!

 

Patio Lounging!

Gramma and Grandad Birnie came over the other day with a special gift for Everly. She now has her very own patio chair with her name on it! She is still a bit small to sit in it by herself, but we managed to get a couple pictures of her in it before she wanted to flop out!

 

Education Rally

Today, Ev and I went to the Art Gallery downtown for the rally for education! We found Tiffany and Finn! Everly was mesmerized by the bubbles that Finn was blowing! He even let her pop one!

Food!

Everly has been trying out all sorts of new "solid" food! So far, she has tried banana, avocado, sweet potato, chicken, ground beef, yogurt, pears and crepes! It is pretty hilarious to see her facial expressions when she is trying something new!

We have had quite the hot weather here in the past couple weeks. Darren and I decided that Everly needed a little pool to cool down in this summer. We went to Canadian Tire and found this one that will fit both Darren and I as well as enough room for Ev to float around in! She absolutely loved it!

6 Months Old!

It is very hard to believe that Everly is 6 months old today! Half a year, Wow! Where has the time gone? Everly is turning into such a sweet little girl! She is developing more and more every day! She can now sit unassisted and play with her toys. Most of the time, all the toys end up in her mouth due to teething! No teeth to report yet though! She loves to laugh and giggle! When daddy throws her in the air to be a "Flying Baby", she squeals at the top of her lungs! At 6 months old, Everly weighs 14 lbs 7 oz and is 26 inches long! She is still pretty small for her age, but she started out so much smaller than the average baby too! Darren and I love this little girl more than anything in the world and cannot imagine life without her! She brings so much joy and excitement to each and every day!

It is so amazing having such a happy little girl! Whenever we are out and about, random strangers stop me to say hi to Everly! She always has a big smile for anyone wanting to talk to her!
